In 2010, we will not have a central stage as we did in 2009.

We will have a activity/display area marked out inside the 'horseshoe' of stalls.

The new management of the pool have been unco-operative, so there will be no pool activities.

If you have questions you need resolved, please contact our

Fair Day Coordinator, Wally Salinger,        TS-Fairday@teamsydney.org.au

As updates occur we will try to get them posted on this page.  Please come back regularly.

The bump-in times for Sports Village stall holders are as per the instructions sent out by NMG for Bump-in -- if you do not hear from NMG contact Geoffrey Radford (TS-President@teamsydney.org.au or 0411 066 485 and Geoffrey will chase it up for you.

  • Your 'bump in' time has been planned to minimise traffic jams, so please arrive on time. There is very little latitude. All times refer to vehicles on the park. If you do not need a vehicle for your stall, you may arrived later so long as your stall is set up in time for kick-off at 10:00.
  • Each vehicle has been allocated a maximum of 15 minutes to unload.

  • Vehicles cannot remain on the park (unless previously authorised) and must be removed by 9am.

  • There is no allocated parking for stallholders. There are two public parking stations located nearby at Broadway Shopping Centre and in the street behind the Seymour Centre.

  • The sale of pre-packaged alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including bottled water & soft drink is not permitted as stipulated in our stallholder terms & conditions. When providing bottled water to your staff and volunteers only “Mount Franklin ” branded bottled water is permitted.

  • Community Stalls are not permitted to conduct fundraising activities away from their stall. Community Stalls are permitted to raise funds from the bench of the stall structure.

  • Stalls are not permitted to distribute circulars or other promotional material away from their stall. Stallholders are permitted to place these on their stand for visitors to collect and may conduct recruiting from the stall..

  • At this stage vehicles may not re-enter the park until 8 PM, as determined by the event manager. Safety is our first concern, but we continue to work with security and event management to seek an early bump-out traffic plan. You are welcome at any time to bump your stall out by walking your belongings off the park.

  • Putting pegs in the ground is not allowed. There is an underground irrigation system in the park and City of Sydney Council is stringent about this.

The 2010 arrangement will be similar to this. An updated plan will be substituted as soon as possible. Numbering starts from the bottom, left-hand end and progresses around to the bottom, right-hand end.

Tug of War

Fair Day is almost upon us and Team Sydney's annual Tug of War is here once more.

To find us, face the main NMG stage then look 90 degrees to your left. That is the Team Sydney Sports Village.

The competition will begin at 14:45 (2:45 pm) on the flat area between the 'jaws' of the horseshoe of stalls.

We would like registrations for the tug-of-war as soon as possible, preferably before the day. Each team will need six (6) members.

Registrations should be sent to TS-Fairday@teamsydney.org.au -- late entries will be accepted at the Team Sydney stall before 12 noon on the day.

Sydney Convicts are the defending Champions. Let us find out if they can successfully defend their crown.

Other Things

In addition to your own stall, NMG has a stall for the promotion of Mardi Gras Festival events. This includes Team Sydney's Sports Festival. If you wish to promote your Sports Festival event, simply take your flyers to the NMG stall on the day. The NMG stall is located near the Victoria Park pool among a group of NMG and sponsor stalls.

Note: Only Festival events may be promoted. Do NOT hand out flyers except from your stall in the Sports Village.
