AMAZON WOMENS’ TENNIS SOCIAL DAY

If you are looking to get back into tennis, or have always wanted to play, then join us for our mega-social tennis day.  It’s an excellent opportunity for new and interested players to have a go and meet new people.  The format is social doubles and we welcome all ages and all levels.  From the absolute beginner to rusty enthusiasts to advanced players, you’ll be playing people of your level.

ASCC              MARDI GRAS REGATTA

A multi-race sailing regatta, held on one-design Elliot 5.9m Keel-boats (teams of three per boat) on the waters north of Rushcutter Bay.  A maximum of 10 boats are available.  The racing will be windward-leeward courses, typically with 3 races in the day.  Join the competitive racing, with a fun crowd, on a sunny Sydney Harbour day.

BENTSTIX        PINK HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Join Bentstix Hockey Club for their annual Pink Hockey Championships, played using the Sydney Hockey Association rules.  Enter as a team or as an individual.  Bring no-slip running shoes, shorts, a hockey stick (if you have one), mouth guard, shin pads and a white t-shirt.  All skill levels welcome.  Email us for more information or to register.

DIFFERENT STROKES     DRAGON BOATING

Come down to Blackwattle Bay and try out the 2,000 year old sport of Dragon Boating.  This is a healthy water sport!  You will get a chance to paddle a Dragon Boat, meet members of Different Strokes Dragon Boat Club (Australia’s first GLBTQ dragon boat club) and join us for a free BBQ.

The Mardi Gras Championships is Tennis Sydney’s largest and most prestigious tennis event.  Gay, lesbian and transgender tennis players of all grades (and their family and friends) are encouraged to enter this competitive, social and fun tournament.
